I founded Michael Rosen Associates to provide consulting to the brokerage and legal industries. We provide expert witnessing in securities trading litigation and we also provide operational, compliance and trading consulting services to brokers.

I play the role of market structure expert and design algo tools and trading tools. Am currently working on Intelligent Order Handling Agents and new business development

Consulting practice that specialized in operations, STP and execution systems. Built the business. Companies consulted for included: Bear Stearns, Nueberger Berman, Fifth Third Bank, DE Shaw, Fleet Securities

Created software platform to perform real time risk analysis and operational control of trade positions by matching real time trades to streetside comparisons and run risk profiles to guide staff in which problems to attack. Business was folded when first client could not take delivery of software in the aftermath of September 11.

Moved to W&D at the request of Jefferies and ITG. Ran what at that time was one of the largest agency program execution shops. Built OrderPath for Jefferies, a Windows based DOT giveup and execution system. Developed business and grew revenues 500%.
