PAW is a month-long workshop in which theatre professionals come together to educate and enrich the lives of children in the Gillette, WY area as the children rehearse and perform a theatrical show.(I was the Stage Manager in 2010, and 2011; Props Master in 2014, 2015, and 2017)

I taught at Washington High School. Classes taught were Theatre I, Theatre II, Play Production, and Explorations in Reading. I was the technical director (set, lights, sound, props) for the theatre department for 4 years, and directed a number of shows throughout 4 years including: The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Things My Mother Taught Me, and The Seussification of Romeo & Juliet. I directed and coordinated a show for State One Acts each year. I also oversaw the Drama Club for several years, which included planning and chaperoning the Drama Club on a 2 - 3 day trip, once to Omaha, and once to Minneapolis. Planning these trips included planning and executing various fundraising events and opportunities for the students.While at WHS, I assisted other student organizations (such as Student Council) with technical needs when they held events in the auditorium or Little Theatre.

(At the time, the managing company was SMG, who has since merged with ASM Global.) As the operations manager of the Sioux Falls Orpheum Theatre, I worked with clients in planning their events as well as providing event-day services; managed set-ups, tear-downs, and conversions for events; conducted maintenance and repairs in the building and on equipment; managed the social media presence, and spear-headed several marketing efforts. I also served on the Orpheum Theatre Board and worked with resident companies on their scheduling needs.

Home Made Theatre has a small full-time staff and many volunteers. As the only technical staff member, I had many responsibilities, along with the role of training volunteers to operate lights and sound during performances, and assist with pre-production work. Draft work drawings, and build sets. Hang/focus/program lighting. Patch sound system. Design lights and set for children's conservatory shows. Maintain budgets. Serve on Artistic Board.
