I am the Managing Director of Newground, an award winning social enterprise that delivers professional support services to our clients throughout the UK. We specialise in sustainable landscaping and environmental business support. We also have a dedicated team of community regeneration professionals delivering social projects. As a social enterprise, all our profits are reinvested back into our charity, Newground Together, and distributed in the form of community grants throughout the North of England. Last year this equated to £1.5million allocated to community projects. We have 3 areas of business: Business ConsultancyOur consultancy team deliver environmental and health and safety consultancy and training. We also offer a subscription service that keeps our clients up to date with the latest changes in legislation. Landscape ServicesWe design, build and maintain sustainable landscaping schemes throughout the North and specialise in regeneration, biodiversity and natural play. Community TeamWe also operate a division that focuses on non-profit regeneration projects – projects that improve local communities and the lives of the people who live there.
