While a volunteer member, I served as president, vice-president, secretary and 1st lieutenant in addition to a number of leadership roles on various committees. Allentown First Aid Squad (82-21) is a volunteer EMS organization serving the communities of Allentown & Upper Freehold Township, New Jersey. The squad was founded in 1943 and provides emergency medical services (EMS) 24 hours per day, (7) days per week, (365) days per year.

As the manager of the group I retained analytical responsibilities while managing personnel, developing business partner relationships and was a key participant in enterprise business development for large corporate accounts.

Originally a consultant supporting the introduction and adoption of information systems. I developed a role for myself as MIS manager and eventually the Director of Information Systems & Technology. While at Eger, I was responsible for all aspects of computing, particularly client technology infrastructure, deployment and on-going support. I introduced "computer" networking and was responsible for integrating with the data processing systems in the Finance department. I pioneered the adoption of database applications and was responsible for the application development and support. I worked with vendors to develop applications for the business as well as assume responsibility for meeting state and federal regulatory requirements for reimbursement and reporting.
