Project examples include:-Assisted a US-based nuclear supply chain company’s expansion into the aerospace industry.-Assisted a heavy manufacturing company’s growth through acquisitions through M&A and due diligence.-Supported a new product launch for a first-in market 3D radiation detection system through competitive intelligence and analysis, creation of pricing strategies, crafting of value proposition and key messaging, communications materials, and identification of key events for product launch which was successfully executed.-Develop and continually expand relationships with key stakeholders, government personnel and nuclear supply chain companies as a member of The Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries as well as the Nuclear Infrastructure Council of the United States. Market Insights and Policy Reports: - Author of 3 reports focused on providing industry and thought leadership to help companies and clients understand market opportunities, market developments, and laws and regulations to foster business development: -First author of “Supply Chain Opportunities in UK Civil Nuclear Decommissioning”, contributing author of “2015 United Kingdom Nuclear Energy Market Outlook” and “2015 Small Modular Reactor Global Market Outlook”. -Publications sold to 9 organizations, including the International Atomic Energy Association. -Designed, organized, promoted and hosted live webinars based on reports. Webinar platforms provided decision-makers with accessible, information-rich content in interactive, fast-paced environment.

Business Development & Marketing: -Provide go-to-market consulting and advisory services including business development/commercialization strategy, qualitative research, analysis, due diligence, government policy analysis, regulatory requirements and implications, security risk analysis and assessment of foreign markets, advocacy to address regulatory approval, risk, financing, project management, and professional writing and editing (see http://www.randagroup.ca/services/ for additional information):-Projects sectors included renewable and sustainable energy technologies, advanced waste management (waste-to-energy, materials recovery, recycling) in national and global markets, and special projects. Project examples include:-Worked with executive-MBA students at INSEAD Business School, Singapore, to develop a modular waste management system for high-rise buildings that utilized gasification technology to recover energy from waste. The final report was presented to the Housing and Development Board of Singapore with implementation discussions ongoing at this time. *Winner of 2016 INSEAD Pitching Competition hosted by Mustard Seed.-Developed sales mandates with two Canadian TSX-V listed companies to market their technologies in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.-Conducted a special project for a home renovation/design company to uncover previously unknown market opportunities resulting in product diversification and a doubling of revenue within two years of implementation.

Elections Marketing and Campaigning:-Worked as a UK General Elections 2010 Elections Officer for MP Jim Fitzpatrick:-Developed and managed Mr. Fitzpatrick’s campaign website.-Established campaign goals, public relations engagement and communication, canvassed with Mr. Fitzpatrick and local councilors, attended town hall debates, organized events with political leaders. *Jim Fitzpatrick was successfully re-elected.

Research & Analysis:-Lead researcher and advisor on policy and private sector development in portfolios including nuclear energy, renewable energy, national defense, security, trade, international affairs. -5 projects per month, involving tracking/disseminating key information to government and public through presentations, seminars, written reports, official communications.Media and Public Relations:-Researched and monitored key policy and legislative developments and ensured that policies were integrated into organizational goals through crafting documents and speeches to support official government positions, questions to opposition parties, identifying key opportunities to support/promote policies. -Conducted media monitoring, engagement with Parliamentary Library and Research Specialists, delineated private and public sector reports.

Attended this annual three-day course on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) at Magdalene College, Cambridge. Topics covered included: history and development of IHL; Protection of the wounded, sick and shipwrecked; Combatants and prisoners of war; Human Rights and IHL; Protection of civilians; Non-international armed conflicts; Implementation and enforcement of IHL; Weaponry; The work of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
