In addition to my experience in commercial real estate finance, I also spent 3 years working for commercial real estate development firms before going on to develop several commercial real estate projects personally. During my tenure on the development/ownership side of the industry, responsibilities included performing due diligence on proposed commercial real estate projects, arranging debt financing, raising private equity funding, and managing the development and construction of numerous projects from inception to completion.
