Co-designed and implemented the VLSI Technology Center Tool Lab’s Project Management Framework Solution, allowing computer chip engineers from both HP and a partnering company to manage and deliver large, diverse projects involving joint engineering tasks. This solution helped engineers provide accurate answers regarding the product development plan and timeline, and the investment required to meet established deadlines. This solution was developed with object-oriented design using Perl5 for UNIX/Linux and occurred in small stages, each building upon the other (i.e., Agile/Scrum). This allowed development to focus on exactly what was needed based on priority, to quickly respond to feedback and changes, and was a highly productive approach for team collaboration to design and deliver the complex project. KEY RESULTS• Enabled on-time delivery of the PA-8200 RISC CPU.• Chosen by management to participate in the Accelerated Leadership Program which developed leaders and managers within the Network Computing Organization of HP.• Mentored by the former General Manager of an HP manufacturing site during the program.
