Treatment, assessment, evaluation and coordination of care for individuals, adolescents and couples through utilization of trauma informed care for mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and PTSD among other disorders.

Within the correctional mental health unit and in collaboration with Psychiatric providers; provision of appropriate mental health services to patients in the county jail system. Behavioral Health Manager (Mental Health Clinician/LAMFT ) Participation as member of Collaborative Care team comprised of primary care provider (PCP), psychiatric consultant and other specialty healthcare providers. Provision of face to face treatment imbedded into primary care practice locations (Honor Health). Responsible for evaluating, treating, and coordinating the care of patients with diagnosis commonly seen in the primary care setting including depression, anxiety, complicated grief and mood disorders. Responsibilities also included treatment planning, assessment, and medical documentation.

Utilizing best practice in crisis intervention to respond and support individuals and families in distress and crisis. Provision of behavioral health, prevention, education and crisis stabilization services to children, adolescents, adults, senior adults and families as well as schools, neighborhoods, organizations and businesses by providing phone, walk-in and in-home crisis counseling to clients in order to facilitate immediate stabilization of emotions and behavior. Assessment of risk, effective engagement with clients, development of risk reduction plans and follow-up as needed. Collaborate effectively and respectfully with clients, families, schools, first responders and all others involved. Focus of care with the seriously mentally ill, children/ adolescents and family interventions. Stabilize different ages and stages of development/lifespan and different cultural backgrounds and experiences. Make appropriate referrals to other agencies and/ or long-term counseling when appropriate.

Utilizing Wraparound best practices and philosophy, assuring provision of trauma informed therapeutic services to clients and their families. Case management and collaboration of services between Juvenile Probation and DFCS while organizing coordination of care within WRAP-Compadres service team.
