I have also spoken at the OIS EDTech Conference on Music Technology, highlighting the ways in which technology can be used to support music education in the 21st century. Additionally, I have conducted teacher sessions on Managebac, Seesaw, and school cloud, helping to troubleshoot and facilitate tech sessions for other educators. Through these initiatives, I have sought to empower teachers to leverage technology to enhance their teaching practices and support student learning in new and exciting ways. As a Music and Arts Coordinator, I am involved in leading various aspects of the school's academic and extracurricular programs. This includes designing and leading professional development workshops for teachers to improve their skills and knowledge, conducting team appraisals to assess and enhance the performance of the arts faculty, reviewing and refining the arts curriculum to align with the school's goals and vision, and leading parent sessions to keep them informed about their child's progress in the arts.I also mentor students for PYPX, guiding them through the inquiry process, and develop their research and presentation skills. Additionally, I lead sessions on moderation of assessment to ensure consistency and fairness in evaluating student work.Working on the school's curriculum structure and reviewing the time-table for PYP is also an important part of my role. This involves ensuring coherence, balance, and alignment between different subjects and areas of learning while considering the students' needs and interests. I also incorporate technology and digital literacy into the curriculum to keep up with the latest trends in education.
