After I graduated in Latin-Modern languages, I consciously chose to study to be a teacher of physical education and computer science. Teaching, parenting, sports and computer science have been a common thread throughout my life ever since. I started as an educator in the third grade of secondary education, then I taught physical education and computer science in various schools for a number of years. I became and still am a part-time ICT coordinator. I have always been fascinated by young people and their mental well-being in particular. I am convinced that sport, computer science and teaching should play a very decisive role in the psychosocial education we owe young people. I stand up for breaking taboos around psychological vulnerability and hope to contribute to helping young people grow up and blossom into critical, assertive world citizens with a positive self-image.I’m convinced that the way education is embedded in today’s society still has a long way to go…
