About Mieoki C.

I was a member of the VCG CCS Executive Operations Team acting as Chief of Staff in support of SVP, Nancy Clark - Consumer Customer Success until June 2024 when I retired from Verizon after a very successful career of 24 years.I began my 24-year career journey with Verizon as a CS Representative, in June 2000. I quickly excelled in my performance which led me to join the leadership team as a Supervisor in December 2001. As a Supervisor I worked on piloting the Interview Task Force, Bridge the Bussiness w/ Retail, and the Escalation Task Force for which I received the Directors Award of Excellence. Those accomplishments led me to another promotion to Associate Director in 2004, where I continued to set best-in-class performance and initiate several pilot programs to positively improve the center’s efficiency, quality, close rate, and escalated call handling. As a Call Center Assoc. Director / Senior Manager, I supported the New Employee Experience, R.A.M.P., Escalation Queue, and several mixed call-type teams including Global, Tech Support, Customer Care, and the Career Advancement Team. Before taking on the Chief of Staff role in 2022, I served the VCG Support Coordinator Containment Teams where I led multiple initiatives to positively impact culture like wellness and inclusion programs as well as attendance improvement and leader accountability projects.I served as an active member of DRIVE Inspire Pillar supporting the production of the Behind the Wheel series. I also served as the Verizon BOLD ERG Global Membership Lead where I received the Employee Resource Group Service Excellence Award in 2023. My knowledge, wisdom, and passion for strategic partnership and development have allowed me to bring multiple facets of insight and direction on how to successfully win together. I am known for being a fearless leader who finds joy in teaching others how to understand, appreciate, and leverage the diversity around them. Throughout my career, I have served as a member, ambassador, and mentor and have also worked within my community to help others establish their businesses and prepare for their careers. I enjoy competition and am known for being able to achieve what I believe.
