Responsibilities: • Installing, configuring and managing over 50 servers located in 4 datacenters in Romania and Germania(Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 + SQL Server 2005/2008/2012, Windows server 2008 DC/AD, Sharepoint 2010, Fedora, Debian, Centos,Ubuntu,RedHat, SME mail Server, DNS server, OpenVPN server, Apache, JBoss, Mysql, Oracle,JVM,Hyper-V, VMware, QlikView, Samba Shares ). • Installing/Configuring RAID and ILO. • Receive, check and resolve requests received via the ticketing system. • Analyze and resolve all problems related to servers, workstations and all the associated systems. • MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle (10g , 11g) database administration. • Implement stored procedures, jobs and maintenance plans in MSSQL for the automation of backup/restore/database transfers operations and other maintenance operations on the databases. • Install/configure/manage over 50 workstations (Windows XP/7/8, Microsoft Office Suite, VirtualXP, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, Outlook, Thunderbird, Eclipse, Sql Management Studio, Oracle Client). • Manage the intranet (Sharepoint, VPN, Mail, AD, CVS, DNS, DHCP, networking equipment – firewalls, routers, switches, vpn) • Level 1,2,3 support for our clients • Monitoring the performance of our networks / servers / applications and implementing better solutionsin order to increase the performance (Nagios / Awstats / Webalizer / Jprofiler etc.) • Document the used working procedures and making how-to tutorials for installing and configuring allof our applications and services. • Administering the used ticketing system (JIRA – projects / users / security / settings) • Programming and implementing bash and batch scripts for task automation (backups, service restarts, file transfers etc – cron, incron and task scheduler 2003/2008) • Implementing DRP solutions (disaster recovery plan) and security politics.
