Responsible for Project Management of the DSB Data centre consolidation and virtualisation - to migrate the entire DSB Data centre infrastructure (+2000 units), to NNIT Data centres, including business critical units of high importance. This includes five DSB Data centres, and a target increase in virtualisation on Windows and Linux to 80%. Project ownership at DSB Board level. 21 months.Project D: Implementation of new Oracle Exadata HW, to relieve an overloaded existing platform. This included the move of a selected number of DSB Business critical, i.e. Platinum and gold systems, databases to this. A total of 17 Oracle database version upgrades and 50 Oracle database migrations. 7 monthsProject C: Transition - DSB Outsourcing contract with an external contractor. At that time a Programme was established, to ensure a smooth transition for DSB onto this new contractor. The Transition consisted of five towers – I was Project Managing the two (Helpdesk and Service Manual). Furthermore, QA responsible – across the whole programme. Project ownership at DSB Board level. 9 months.Project B: Establishing a web functionality to book international train tickets online via DSB. 6 months.Project A: Implementation of Data Governance across DSB – facilitating change. The main goal was to establish a framework and the organisation, which will ensure the foundation of Data Governance in DSB. In doing this, role descriptions, principles, processes and guidelines, were produced, which ensures data models reflects the needs of the whole organisation. And essentially, a wide selection of 240 employees across DSB were selected and trained. Project ownership at DSB Board level. 16 months. -
