- Analyze inventory, sales numbers, and projected ordering needs to present the forecast to the executive team each month. Work with suppliers to place orders and track production schedules.- Manage the relationship and performance of our 3PLs to ensure they are meeting our expectations in terms of inventory tracking, turnaround times, and error rates.- Control costs by meeting with shipping companies to negotiate rates, working with our 3PL partners to identify areas of opportunity, and analyzing business needs before adding phone and software licenses.- Handle HR functions such as updating the employee handbook, coordinating with our insurance broker for open enrollment, setting up new employees, and serving as the point of contact for HR questions and needs.- Other duties as assigned, such as creating the company’s business continuity plan, assisting our international division, and managing summer interns.

- Oversee the division’s management, customer service, and inside sales teams and ensure they have a strong understanding of our business plan and the role they each play. Monitor performance at both the individual and overall business level.- Oversee the division’s metrics, budgets, and financials. Maintain a solid understanding of our sales numbers, customer base and reasons behind growth or decline. Manage costs by evaluating staffing, freight policies, pricing, and overall spending.- Submit bids for contract work at both the state and federal level, establish pricing, and train the customer service team on awarded contracts.- Partner with the pricing committee to ensure competitive pricing in the market while maintaining strong margins.- Partner with the planning team to establish distribution keys and forecasts to ensure strong fill rates.- Foster strong relationships with the shared services team to help support business initiatives and improve processes. Create new business opportunities by collaborating with our business partners, both internal and external.
