MyOasis est un nouveau fonds de dotation, créé avec Raphael Colicci, dédié au développement d'oasis expérimentaux à travers le monde (comme www.maioasis.com * au Cap Vert par exemple), qui combinent innovation scientifique et savoirs ancestraux pour notamment « cultiver l’eau » à travers une vingtaine de techniques différentes. Les initiatives financées par le fonds de dotation MyOasis se concentrent sur les domaines d’intervention suivants : eau, biodiversité, agriculture régénérative, alimentation et santé. *Maioasis, un oasis expérimental de 15 ha, initié par Raphaël Colicci en 2022 sur Maio, île désertique du Cap Vert, qui a vu son agriculture disparaitre complètement en 13 ans, alors qu’elle exportait auparavant fruits et légumes dans toutes les autres îles du Cap vert. Ainsi, ce conservatoire a pour objectif de faire des recherches sur les variétés tropicales de fruits et légumes les plus résistantes à l’aridité et de développer une vingtaine de techniques pour « cultiver l’eau », afin de relancer une agriculture nourricière à Maio.

Thanks to the ways of our culture we have the satisfaction of harvesting a healthy and balanced grape, intrinsically capable of producing a wine of great quality. Thus chemical fertilizers are replaced by organic compost, which maintains a humus and micro-biological balance of the soil. Treatments are minimised, the natural soil nutrition strengthens the natural resistance of vines. This approach avoids the escalating chemical treatment processes which radically destroy parasites, but by imbalance it may cause the rise of other forms of parasites. At Seigneurie de Peyrat, we drink water from our well without any treatment, thus keeping its purity and unique gustative qualities.
