I am a passionate scientist with over 6 years of experience in the fields of drug delivery, extracellular vesicles and cancer biology. Recognized for my innovative approach to problem solving, I have developed many pioneering engineering approaches in the field of extracellular vesicle-based drug delivery and cell therapy, that have been patented and licensed to biotech start-ups. I have a proven track record of leading projects successfully from conception to publication and towards commercialization or clinical translation. With a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration, I thrive in leadership roles, having demonstrated the ability to effectively lead multiple research teams, while concurrently fostering research partnerships with academic collaborators and industry partners alike. My productivity and drive are evident by the fact that I completed my PhD at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine within 2 years, during which I authored 21 peer-reviewed publications, filed 4 patents based on my original research and presented at numerous international and local conferences. The broad impact of my research contributions is reflected in the accolades I have received through my research career, including the Thomas Clarkson Gold Medal for the Global Winner in the Life Sciences category awarded by the Global Undergraduate Awards and the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles Young Investigator Award which I received during my PhD.
