I am an electrical engineer with an MSc degree from the Universidad de Chile, where I graduated with top honours. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in a dual program between the University of Manchester and the Universidad de Chile. My research focuses on analysing the impact of different tariff schemes on the long-term equilibrium between distributed energy resources and distribution network deployment, with a special emphasis on cost allocation equity among various consumers and prosumers.With over six years of experience, I have tackled challenging problems in national and international consultancy companies and Chilean research centres, such as the Centro de Energía at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Institute of Complex Systems of Engineering at the Universidad de Chile. I have worked on various projects supporting the Ministry of Energy of Chile, the Chilean Regulator Office, the Chilean ISO, and diverse stakeholders. Additionally, during my studies at the University of Manchester, I participated in a project with Scottish Power Energy Networks, analysing the role of the Distribution System Operator in the context of RIIO-ED2.
