An aspiring chemist that's recently completed a Bachelor of Science (chemistry of advanced materials) and a semester in a Masters of material science and engineering program at the University of Newcastle. These programs actively engaged my scientific curiosity, problem solving ability and developed myself as a proffesional to which I am currently employed as a pharmaceutical API chemist.My studies have allowed me to conduct a variety of experiments and research methods in organic and analytical laboratories to which I built a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, equipment and working under safe standards. Through individual and collaborative learning I was able to publish scientific reports and communicate key findings using scientific reasoning and critical thinking. Additionally, my course work introduced me to data analyis using excel, mathematical modeling and specialized software to obtain complex information and interpret effectively for my scientific reports. The research projects completed during my studies further focused on sustainability, multidisciplinary learning as well as looking at the circular economy. These projects alongside my tertiary studies built strong foundations in stem, project management and engaging with people.
