Morgan Mar 1985 - Feb 1995I lead from the buyer´s side the 5 most important privatization processes of the 1990-1992 period: Entel, Edenor, Gas, Aerolíneas, Aguas Argentinas. Applying creativity and ingenuity I led my clients to success, who were awarded in 90% of the cases. In the particular case of Entel, with an unfavorable beginning Stet group/France Telecom/Perez Companc I designed and implemented the payment strategy with sovereign public debt bonds which was significantly more attractive to the Government than the offers competitors offers, at a markedly lower cost for the bidder. The pioneering success of the strategy applied in Entel was later replicated in Edenor with the EDF / Endesa / Astra group that was awarded the north área, the most promising of the two tendered. I negotiated that JPM had to receive the 10% of the share capital of Electricidad Argentina SA (EASA) (controlling de Edenor) and Nortel Inversora S.A (controlling company of Telecom S.A).I led the Chile´s team that advised the government of the People's Republic of China in the acquisition of 25% of the Pesquera San José Coquimbo in U$ S25MM. Including a US $ 20MM loan to China. -
