Services Platforms Project Management at CTO [Chief Technical Office] for ALM [Asset Life Management] and CRO [Component Re-engineering & Overhaul]Senior member of an international experienced team, providing support and ensuring best practices on key projects for the different global regions. Lead the Project Team in the successful completion of their assigned tasks within schedule, allocated budgets and scope to the required quality. Responsible to apply the key Project Management Processes and the applicable tools, ensuring that all risks and opportunities were properly addressed and mitigated.

Customer Support, Warranty and Commissioning Manager – Metro do PortoResponsible for the integration and deployment of the 72 vehicles of Metro do Porto fleet into operation and the efficient implementation of warranty obligations. Managed the relationship with customer and supported the team interfaces with other consortium functions and/ or suppliers in order to solve problems and to fulfill contractual obligations, reducing warranty costs and increasing customer satisfaction.

Engineering Manager on the following Projects:- Metro do Porto (since January 1999) - Engineering Activities Coordinator for the LRV’s Platform Development (Eurotram) for Milan and Porto Projects- Metro de Lisboa (March 1998 - December 1998)- Travessia do Tejo (from April 1997 till February 1998) Engineering Activities Coordinator for the EMU’s Double Deckers Platform Development, Brisbane / Melbourne – Australia (October and November 1997)Lead an international group of engineers to technically define and develop design areas of the rolling stock projects (LRV, Metro and Double-Deckers platforms) namely the required vehicle architecture, concept and design solutions. Ensured that design solutions were valid and correctly integrated to meet the technical requirements of a compliant rolling stock design. Coordinated all specification, testing and validation tasks in order to obtain the approval and the successful completion of the acceptance process.
