Music, movies, television and my family all inspired me to become an artist. Like many artist of the past I took inspiration from my surrounding environment. Drawing has always been something I always did out of pure enjoyment but I didn’t think drawing would get me anywere, until I saw that everything from my clothing I wear to the house that I live in all started on a sheet of paper. My goal is to learn different art forms as well as the art form other cultures and apply them to my own style. My Goal is to one day become a successful concept artist, graphic designer. As a kid I would spend a great deal of time at my grandmother, and uncles. Since the neighborhood was peppered with all kinds o¬f street art on the walls. The abundance of vibrant colors used in them, inspired me to learn street art and other creative styles. When I was there I would just draw doodles of anything I saw on TV or in a book. It took years before a teacher told me that my drawing skills were “good”. My first art teacher showed me the basics of drawing and from him I was able to find a structure to my drawing skills. Presently I’m a college student learning even more and applying my skills in a new variety of ways. Once I’m finish with school I want to work as a concept artist and hope fully see my work out in the world. By doing so, I hope that my artwork will inspire the people to explore their creative side.
