Ensure effective processes are in place for prompt payments, customer service and problem resolution.• Cash receipts all incoming payments for students, faculty and staff and outside clients and vendors.• Balance and reconcile all daily receipts and job functions at the end of business day.• Handle complaints pertaining to vending services and process all vending refunds as needed.• Assist students, faculty, staff, clients and vendors with account inquiries helping them understand their accounts• Work with students one on one to assist in setting up payment plans and understanding refund profile• Research and audit student accounts, communicate with students via phone and email.• Complete Financial Aid Referral forms and Business Office Research Forms for a more in depth inquiry on student accounts• Maintained supply levels through ordering, tracking, and requisition of supplies• Receive all incoming Business Office documents and process as needed• Assist with new hire process of part-time employees—collecting proper documentation and abiding all HR policies with inputting data• Ensuring new employees comprehend policies and procedures of the workplace
