The project had to do with applying Robotic Process Automation (RPA) into the different functional AT&T Mexico areas (HR, Finance, Operations, Marketing) to obtain savings by optimizing manual workflows. I was responsible for conducting and documenting joint requirements gathering sessions leading to the identification of such workflows, related specification documentation, and financial status. I managed to assess communication between end-users and the development team by presenting the requirements, business cases, and financial situation in a logical, clear, and compelling way to start applying RPA and get savings.

I worked at Softtek participating in two major projects: one that had to do with the Banking and Investments industry and the second with the Telecommunications industry. I helped Nearsoft become one of the top 3 Nearshoring companies in Mexico by executing two roles in parallel, as a Software Engineer and as an Account Relationship Manager. My main engineering activities had to do with elaborating project plans, developing change requests, writing meeting minutes and action items, detecting risks and creating mitigation plans.Additionally, from the account relationship management standpoint, I helped Nearsoft to find appropriate human resources to expand the staffed positions within Axolotl Corp. I also learned how to perform Due Diligence and Pre-Sales, and Assessments to come up with Business Proposals. My account management turned out to be successful enough despite the 2009’s global crisis enabling Nearsoft’s business continuity up to date.
