In addition to my work as freelance in the field of chemical patents, I am pursuing two projects to solve problems I confront in my daily practice. First, finding comprehensive, jet easy to use, tools for viewing and looking up patent law and related information in my daily work. PCT PatentRosetta, under construction, will provide everyone with a more comprehensive approach to PCT law. Going beyond an annotated text of the PCT, we envision to provide a tool in the crossroads of internet and law, an easy to use free guide to the PCT which takes advantage of all the possibilities the internet can offer. Second, readily finding reliable information on worldwide Patent Law through the PatentRosetta project (currently under development), which aims to bring together relevant updated information on the patent law of many different countries. PatentRosetta will provide well organized comprehensive information to answer questions such as the fees due in different countries at entry in the national/regional phase or the location of file wrapper in most countries. I am responsible for the IP management, including patent drafting & prosecution as well as FTOs and license agreements. This is a fun work as I am part of the promoting team and have a hands-on experience in the development of exciting new technology.In addition to my responsibilities in IP, I closely work in cooperation with the other promoters of the company towards the commercial take-off of the company, including prospecting the market, and contacting potential clients as well as managing relationship with established clients.
