Graphic designer / illustrator at nim design (graphic design agency in London, working with charities and other ethical organisations), focusing on branding, infographics and annual reports, with an emphasis on printed materials. Some projects include digital outputs, development of interactive materials, posters, newsletters, websites, e-mail campaigns and general marketing deliverables, teaming up with web programmers, marketing team, other designers and brand guardians. Dealing directly with clients, understanding the requirements of each project and advising with regards to design specifications is also an integral part of the process.Clients I have carried projects from beginning to completion with include: Certitude London, Citizens Advice, Forces in Mind Trust, Girls Not Brides, Imperial Health Charity, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust, King's College Hospital Charity, Multiple Sclerosis International Federation, RMBI, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, Saferworld, The Salvation Army, World Hepatitis Alliance and the World trade Organization.

A short term job, covering a maternity leave. Working with the Creative Director I illustrated two collections of cards with both traditional and digital techniques. Clear Creations gave me great insight on the overall process of creating cards, from concept to execution and it was just a joy drawing all day in such a friendly environment.

I have worked since 2009, mostly designing books, from covers and inside layouts, to book markers and book launch promotional materials. I have worked in around 100 books. I have also sporadically designed music album covers and insides, some posters and magazines, mainly in the Arts & Culture areas.

Most of my graphic design work has been done hand in hand with illustration, as I use my illustration skills in versatile ways to design, for instance, book covers without resort to outside material. I have also participated in art and illustration exhibitions and regularly collaborated with Ó! Galeria in Porto, Portugal.

I have been the curator and designer for the collective annual illustration exhibition UIVO, from 2012 to 2014 with Camara Municipal da Maia, in Maia, Portugal. From choosing artists, contacting them, and mounting the exhibition to designing the graphic image for each exhibition and its posters, booklets, facebook images, stop motion videos,etc.
