■ Analysis and advice for the Whole of Government Review of Expenditure, evaluatingagency expenditure of Information and Communications Technology. Providedsupport in developing industry benchmarks on government expenditure on specificservices.■ Managed a $300m investment fund for IT projects across NSW government agencies (ICT Reinvestment Pool). The fund focused on strategic investment in IT projects to help update systems to current technology standards.■ Prepared the 2009-10 budget for the Office for the Children’s Guardian with $15m inoperational expenditure forecast. Subsequent monthly monitoring of agencyexpenditure, variance analysis and communication with external business partnersensured the Agency operated within budgets.■ Review of large-scale capital business cases, including:● $20m for the upgrade of a legacy records management software, to improveoperational capacity and maintain integrity for long-term archiving.● $800m for vehicle acquisition, to refresh the current Sydney Buses fleet to the newerbuses. Acquisitions include an increase in the articulated (double-carriage) busesand natural gas-powered buses. The acquisition and retirement program enablesthe Sydney bus fleet maintain an average age of 8 years old.

ProjectEYE was commissioned by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, to produce youth-oriented media coverage of the World Youth Day 2008 event in Sydney.Reporting directly to the CEO, the project involved the creation of a new media platform to broadcast coverage of the WYD08, the establishment and recruitment of a media team comprised of young journalists, photographers and multimedia artists, and engaging the WYD08 pilgrims and the general public into an interactive discussion using forums and blogs.

■ Development and management of the approval process for Agency leaseapplications within the CBD to comply with the NSW Government accommodationstrategy.■ Project support for the upgrade of Treasury’s business intelligence analysis tools.■ Research and advice on accounting policy for sale and lease-backs of governmentproperties.■ Scoping study to establish a database of all government property assets relating to callcentres.

Financial administration, involving accounts receivables and payables as well as compliance through employee file audits.

■ Monitored and co-ordinated maintenance and repairs to a national network of over 2,000 ATMs. ■ Generated activity reports, performance management reports and addressed customer complaints where required.■ Established the automated maintenance and reporting system GASPER, a first for Credit Unions.■ Logged, addressed and resolved customer (Credit Union branch staff) inquiries. Daily responsibilities include providing banking and settlements reports as well as ATM balancing services.
