Hi, I'm Miguel Silva, an enthusiastic Certified Tourist Guide, Tour Manager and Tour Designer. I've guided and managed groups of tourists since 2007 as a freelancer, not only across my lovely Home Country, Portugal, but in over 40 countries worldwide. Apart from providing general and specific information about the cultural and natural characteristics of the various destinations I take my guests to, being a Tourist Guide involves successfully managing people with different personalities, organizing venues, coordinating providers and controlling bookings. As a Tour Designer I design bespoke itineraries, providing valuable information and tips on what to see, where to go and experiences not to be missed in a given destination.I strive to create empathetic connections with my guests and provide long-lasting and unique memories. I like to organize and plan ahead in order to anticipate any possible problems and overcome them, I always try to concentrate on the solution rather than on the problems. I am able to effectively self-manage during independent projects, but am also capable of collaborating with a team of peers.Enthusiastic traveler, home-cooker, enophile, lover of the outdoors, excited about anything with an engine and overall hedonist.All in all, extremely glad to have found the best job for a wanderluster!
