This position has allowed me to grow consistently within my main interest fields: copywriting, photography and video.Beginning this challenge, my tasks were limited to managing the company's social media channels. As time went by, I was able to estabilish myself as an asset and therefore have been awarded with more responsabilities and new assignments, now ranging from being in charge of Public Relations, liasing with the Press, photographing all shows within the venue and consulting with relevant third party instituitions, whilst still managing and creating content for social media.Being a place of Arts and Culture, Teatro das Figuras has been one of the most intelectually rewarding workplaces I've had the pleasure of collaborating with.

In charge of over 30 properties in the "Golden Triangle" area of the Algarve region, this position has thaught me valuable skills in several areas.Working as somewhat of a "portuguese representative" for the home owners, most of them foreigners, this led me to be responsible for a majority of their legal affairs and all issues related to their properties: from paying taxes to collecting and managing revenues providing from rentals, to estabilishing budgets for all needed interventions.Also, for a year I was head of the in-house Maintenance Department, adding workers scheduling and work management to my daily tasks.My time at Fegan Villas led me to be believe that this might be one of the best tourism related work positions in the Algarve, with long hour work days but with fair compensation, being it monetary or personal, as the relationship built with the property owners must be one of trust and reliability that helped me grow as a professional and a human being alike.

Added to the previous experience as a junior operator, now as a senior broadcast operator I'm responsible for the tasks performed by a team of 2 or 3 operators working in 8 hour shifts. This demands the ensurence of the broadcast of 13 television channels 2 of which have daily live broadcasts. It's a 24/7 job that implies different departments so you end up developing great team working skills.

Working with an african TV Channel, broadcasting live football games and talk shows, through satellite downlink and thus recording them for further transmissions. Definetely a defying challenge to work with such a different country as Angola, but also being able to incorporate live feeds within a regular Broadcast Playout Operation such as ours was a major upgrade to my skills set.

Working since 2014 as a Junior Broadcast Operator as allowed me to get new knowledge regarding television broadcast, therefore being able to learn to work within a team, splitting shifts with senior operators who provide the guidelines required for the work that needs to be done. As problems come up I'm able to gain the tools that allow me to surpass them, giving me the chance to get more and more acquainted with video and audio quality demands, learning to check schedules, working under pressure, and most of all being humble and able to identify my weaknesses, turning them into assets as days go by.

Took a short time internship on the Ingest department, taking a 4 month break from my position as a Playout Junior Broadcast Operator. I figured this experience would make me a better professional on the long run, and so it did. I was able to get acquainted with various digital video and audio formats (H.264, MPEG2, MPEG4, 720P, 1080i, MXF), aswell as the broadcast servers, storage area networks and digital video recorders that end up completing the "course" of the contents that ultimately broadcasted on air. During this time I was also responsible for the contents available on a TV operator's video on demand library. Took an active role in solving media (video & audio) technical problems and also insuring quality Control/assurance for any incoming media.
