Applied physics and scientific computing, in particular in the field of remote sensing, opto-electronic and imaging devices, are the main drivers of my professional profile. As a result of my background in telecommunication engineering, and both my experience as academic researcher and as engineer in the aerospace industry, a set of multidisciplinary skills can be highlighted:- Development of complex, high performance algorithms (specially in C/C++ under Linux and Matlab languages).- Physical modelling of imaging devices, sources and radiative transfer processes within the EO/IR bands.- Solid background in radiometry, interferometry and spectrometry, and, in particular concerning Hyperspectral Imaging devices (field in which I have been intensively involved during my PhD dissertation).- Strong signal and image processing background, computer vision and machine learning techniques.- Usage and handling of electronic and optical instrumentation, communication protocols and laboratory setups.Apart from technical issues, I really appreciate working in highly innovative and challenging environments, where to continue learning and enjoying.
Listed skills include Matlab, C++, Java, Opencv, and 34 others.
