My main role is the development of algorithms for the processing of data provided by payload scientific instruments within the Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) mission, from multi-spectral EO/IR imagers to spectrometer devices.As part of the job performance it is required:- C/C++ development under GNU/Linux environment and through the GNU toolset.- Code optimization, including parallelization and the use of high performance libraries (LAPACK or Intel MKL, among others).- Signal processing and image processing (OpenCV).- End-to-end integration of processing stages (from L0 to INR level).- Validation through Matlab and other scripting languages.
