As the Creative Director, I manage a small group of student volunteers who help with the expansion of Heritage Bay's presence online. My day-to-day tasks include liaising with suppliers for the procurement of new products, creating marketing collaterals for Heritage Bay's social media, and managing orders on Carousell, Lazada, and Shopee. Other miscellaneous tasks include tracking inventory to ensure there is sufficient stock, packing orders to be dropped off at logistic providers, and shoots for the launch of new products. Kudos to all who are venturing on their businesses!

As a Philanthropic Partnership Engagement Intern, I was honoured to be a shared intern amongst supportive colleagues in four departments under Community Chest. Being a assistant to Youth-Day Appeal 2022, I was in-charge of liaising with teachers from all Secondary Schools and Junior Colleges in Singapore. The fundraising appeal, an initiative in spreading awareness of the social sector was a success, securing 55 schools for 2022’s appeal. I was also involved in proposals for the nation-wide Change For Charity grant and the annual Christmas Light-Up for her excellency, President Halimah Yacob. To better understand Singapore’s evolving social sector, I was also crafted two reports on Legacy Giving and Family Foundations.

After completing my internship at Mighty Velo, I continued as a student mentor and retail assistant. Conversing with customers everyday made me learn the importance of trust in establishing good business relations. When selling foldable bikes, understanding the customers' needs while having sound knowledge of the product was a valuable life skill I picked up. As a mentor to the next batch of interns, I was tasked to provide them with a direction for Mighty Velo's marketing strategy and conversing with customers at the experience store.

As the Deputy Marketing Director, I led a resilient marketing team with a goal of enhancing the Club’s presence among students. When the pandemic first started in 2020, our team came out with an anchor verse of "More than just a Business Club". With careful coordination and mentorship by our advisor Mr. Allen, we managed to increase sign-ups by a 150% compared to the previous year, amidst the pandemic. It was a fulfilling experience that taught me that the biggest challenges also presents the largest opportunities. Working together, our team also planned events such as IdeaSLAM! and TEDxYouth@NgeeAnnPolytechnic. I was very fortunate to meet like-minded individuals who were very driven and a BIG thank you to the Sandbox staff, Mr. Allen, my fellow EXCOs and my Subcommittee team for my well-rounded experience as a Sandbox Advocate.

Spearheading four functional roles of Management, Innovation, Community Service & Enterprise, I was given a great opportunity to lead a CCA. Working closely with my Vice Presidents and teachers-in-charge, we planned weekly activities that aligned with the country's I&E developments. A memorable activity included raising funds by selling chicken nuggets using our teacher's air fryer. Although a small feat, we managed to raise over a $100 on that day. As Hong Kah Secondary's Business CCA, we collectively managed to achieved several awards including Silver at the National Design & Marketing Competition and Bronze for the National Youth Business Challenge. In 2017, our team managed to secure a Silver Award for the Financial Literacy Competition. As winners of the competition, we represented our school at the International Financial Literacy Conference held at Maybank Tower. It was a fruitful experience meeting senior stakeholders of Maybank and successful entrepreneurs who enlightened us during the visit. Looking back, I would like to thank my Teachers, Vice-Presidents and members who supported the CCA throughout the way.
