Passionate about nail diseases.Past experience as a research fellow for the Unit of Health, Sexuality and Human Development (USSDH) from UPCH in Peru, working on HIV qualitative and quantitative research, including access to health services and healthcare algorithms for key populations at risk of HIV and monitoring a cohort study among syphilis high-risk populations, including treatment of participants. After moving to Brazil, and getting my medical license, got accepted into the Dermatology program of the Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), at the Instituto de Dermatologia Professor Rubem David Azulay from the Hospital Geral da Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Rio de Janeiro. Nowadays, after getting my board certification as a dermatologist (Exame de Título de Especialista em Dermatologia from the Brazilian Society of Dermatology), I'm coordinating the nail diseases outpatient clinic from the Dermatology division of the Hospital Universitário Pedro Ernesto (HUPE) from the Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).
