Responsible of the Environment, Safety and Health, Government Affairs and Sustainability Management for the entire Latin America region. This region has 27 plants in 10 countries and my key responsibilities are a) manage the integration of the environment, safety and occupational health culture on the day-by-day activities in the company, as well b) increasing the safety behavior in all the co-workers around LATAM region (+3,500) c) the development of projects for improving production processes and generate savings to the company, d) define strategies, plans and annual budgets for the five areas: environment, sustainability, safety and health, government affairs through groups at international level, d) Generate the awareness and safety culture all around the LATAM region. My direct report is to US (Headquarters in Ann arbor-Michigan). Principal Achievements• +9 months without disable injuries in the 27 plants. It was a new record in the global company.• Lead the two principal projects for the region a) Back to Basics and b) Keeping Safety Fresh (behavior)• Lead three global initiatives a) LOTOTO Program b) Confined Spaces and c) Carbon Foot Print Methodology. • Lead the global Project Management Execution according with the Kepner Tregoe process.• Lead the Crisis Management, Media Training and Emergency response for all the Division (28 plants). • Decrease in two years and a half the recordable cases and first aids in 16%• Decrease in two years and a half the lost time cases in 23% • Increase in 52% the awareness through two hand safety campaigns and one safety time out in all the LATAM region.

Responsible of the Environment, Safety and Health, Engineering, Government Affairs and Sustainability Management, manage the integration of the environment, safety and health culture on the day-by-day activities in the company, as well as the development of projects for improving production processes and generate savings to the company. Define strategies, plans and annual budgets for the five areas: environment, sustainability, safety and health, engineering through groups at international level. Also in charge of the key business indicators with direct report to US and Brazil. Principal Achievements• Lead Industria Limpia for 2 Plants in 2 months. • Lead the first plant in Latin-American, which receives Government recognition on Occupational Health and Safety matter. • I reduce in 2 months 15% of the Total Injury Rate in the three plants and achieve the commitment with the region zone; also, an accomplishment of more than 123 days without accidents.• I implement in only three months a Regional Occupational Health Program for the next two years based with the OSHAS requirements.• On environmental matter, we increase the recycling rate to 98%, with this result we achieve the commitment of the program “Zero Waste to landfill” that leads our headquarters in the US.• I reduce 85% of the Total Injury Rate of the Contractors in the three plants.

Danone Group Mexico – Sustainability Regional Manager – Beverages and Dairy DivisionResponsible of the Sustainability, Government Affairs, Environment, Safety and Health Regional Management, including the area of Engineering for Danone Group established in Mexico. • I lead over 5 years ago, all the compliance and regulatory affairs of the company. Today according with an international standard, Danone is considered of one the companies that have a Social Responsibility Program and Safety Standards over the media in the FMCG sector. • I lead since 2011 the Program “Safety First” for the upstream and downstream logistic operation, after successful results in the 8 plants.• I lead the most important project for sustainability in the Worldwide Business Units with an investment of 3 million of euros, and consist to perform and develop a new tool to measure and analyze the Carbon Foot Print and Water Foot Print in Mexico and Central America.• Utilization and Optimization of Biodigestors in the milk farmers according with the CMD to improve and decrease in the next 5 years the offsetting of the total company.• Carbon master for the Beverage and dairy industry on Danone Mexico (measurement, analysis, validation, action plans and offsetting programs)• Achieve 30% of the Carbon reduction of the company in 4 years.• Solid Waste Recovery Plan to increase the RPET recyclability 20% in 5 years.• More than +52 Industria Limpia Certifications at the same time, which represents the 70% of the total business units in Mexico.• 4 Plants with Industria Segura Certification (Step 3) and reduction on disable injuries in 14% in this first year, 25% on the second year and at the 3rd year no disable injuries reported.• Dairy plant reported 700 days without disable injuries and the severity rate low down 85% in these four years.• I built a process plant with a capacity of 1.5 million bottlenecks by year in the north of the country with a total investment of 3 million euros

Responsible of the development and management on the Sustainability, Safety and Health Operations for COCA COLA EXPORT CORPORATION (Concentrate Plant). Also, the development and coordination the productivity, operations and financial risk management for capital projects for the Mexico Concentrate Plant. The budget allocated for each year was $8.375MMUSD for this area.Also, Lead and developed Environmental (Waste Water Treatment Plant) and Safety Engineering Projects like firefighting systems, Ammonia Systems, dust & powder systems, safety conditions for ethyl alcohol & phosphoric acid manufacturing rooms. On the EHS management system I have in my supervision the internal and external certification processes for suppliers, strategies definition focusing on the process optimization and business development. Supported Internal and External Auditing (Benchmark in water resources) and all supervisions: from the country: Federal, State and Municipal (Authority).Principal Achievements• Evolution 3 Program (ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Certifications) in one year.• Industria Limpia for the Plant and two distribution centers in 6 months. I received this certification two times.• Reduce the disable injuries 94% in four years. In the first year we have 52 disable injuries and we reduce to only 3 at the end of the fourth year. • Industria Segura (Step 2) in the plant in 6 months.• Zero Tolerance and KYT programs help to reduce 55% of the unsafe conditions in the plants.• Lead 2 Brigades of Spill and Firefighting Control and won an Internal US Award for their knowledge and action on the simulation with Ammonia.

Responsible for controlling the demand planning sheet, the capital projects and the service management reports. Auditing as a consultant for the company in the local, US and European Community Laws. Negotiation and control of all contracts with suppliers, rent, facilities maintenance, communication and legal documentation (contracts). Lead the Operational Management on Safety and Health in the principal areas like: a) Distillation Towers; b) Batch Process; c) Nitrocellulose Room; d) Peroxides Room and e) Polyurethane and Titanium Dioxide Processes.Principal Achievements• Lead, implementing and launch the Safety Stewardship for all the distributors around Mexico, according with the International Responsible Care Program.• Implementation of a firefighting System Project on peroxides and Nitrocellulose rooms, with this action was reduced the severity of the disable injuries on 55%• Lead, implementing and launch a Distillation tower for oil recuperation (95%).• Lead, implementing and launch the safety conditions on the Batch Systems for Polyurethane process.
