Educated as an architect, I’m also an experienced advisor on architecture and urbanism as well as an academic teacher. As a senior advisor at Bureau Spoorbouwmeester I have built up a broad experience regarding all multidisciplinary aspects of station design. I’m responsible for advising the two Dutch railway companies NS & ProRail on their design guidelines and on ongoing large-scale station transformation projects. Furthermore I'm in charge of advising on heritage aspects and design strategies concerning the large number of listed stations. I also frequently represent Bureau Spoorbouwmeester as keynote speaker at conferences in The Netherlands and abroad.My professional experience as architect and owner of LOOS ARCHITECTS covers the fields of urban planning, housing and mixed-used buildings. LOOS ARCHITECTS has realized several projects in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, many of which were internationally published and nominated for architectural prizes.In addition, I have more than a decade of experience as an academic teacher at architectural schools such as the TU Delft and the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam. Born in Venezuela and educated in Germany, Spain and The Netherlands, I have an international frame of reference, a multidisciplinary focus and a strong passion for the urban environment. As a spatial ambassador supporting the different stakeholders in the planning and building industry, I’m creative, analytical and empathic. I thrive on professionalism, team work and on a good pinch of no-nonsense humour.
