Modern Drummer is the world's #1 drum magazine.I started out as a freelance contributor for Modern Drummer in 2011, and in 2015 took it upon myself to write a business plan for the company to highlight how they could thrive by leveraging digital resources to help their B2B & B2C revenue increase, as well as create multiple new streams of revenue through highly targeted products and services.In 2017 alone, my projects led to a 60% growth in website traffic, as well as multiple new sources of revenue for the magazine using various social media, email, SEO and Paywall strategies, in conjunction with WordPress. I was the project manager in creating an entirely new digital experience for our readers, which include a completely revamped website and integrated apps, all of which provide seamless access to our content on all your favorite devices...all with one account. In 2018, the app and digital edition that I helped to develop was selected as one of the top five overall apps and digital editions in the entire publication industry by the Folio: Eddie and Ozzie Awards, which is one of the most prestigious awards in the entire publication industry.Furthermore, I represent Modern Drummer Magazine as we actively engage the drum community at the local level and through our social media platforms that represent over 600k followers. In addition to my role in business development, I also serve on the content development side by regularly contributing to the magazine as a writer, interviewer, videographer, and photographer.
