Miguel Moya, P.Eng, Pmp Email and Phone Number
My name is Miguel Moya and I am passionate about Engineering. I have been fascinated with designing and fixing things since I was young and knew it would eventually lead me to a career as a Mechanical Engineer. In my home country of Colombia, I earned my Mechanical Engineering degree. I also received the distinction of passing my Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Technologist diploma thesis with scores of 4.8 out of a possible 5. Because of the high marks, I was offered work immediately and subsequently awarded a scholarship for my Master’s degree. However, I decided that what I really wanted to do was travel to Canada and learn English. That was when my life changed professionally and personally. I met and married my wife and decided to make Canada my home. Professionally, I wanted to get some literal hands-on experience. Although I was proficient in using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SAP2000 and Tower software, I eagerly wanted to build with my hands, not just designing structures in the software. Meanwhile earning a B.S. equivalence degree to work in Canada, I developed significant leadership, adaptability, and resilience proficiencies from working with ironworkers in industrial construction projects in mining, and hydropower generation. Once I got the opportunity to work in managing positions, I excel at solving field engineering challenges and have an aptitude for offering innovative and robust solutions that meet or exceed all technical requirements. As a project manager, I have a very democratic style of leadership. I feel that encouraging fresh ideas from each member of the team, makes for a stronger team foundation. I also have a very inquisitive mind and constantly seek out new technologies for the development of products and better ways to do things. If your company is seeking a thoughtful, analytical and results-oriented construction engineer with extensive quality management skills then feel free to contact me anytime to discuss this challenging future opportunity. I love solving engineering problems and contributing to a project's successMy mantra is ‘Ask me anything, tell me everything.’ I am ready!Connect with me on LinkedIn, and let’s set up a time to talk.
