About Miguel Garcia

Actively seeking an opportunity such as an internship, Co-Op, or research opportunity in Biomedical Engineering, specifically in cell and tissue engineering or biomaterials.I am currently involved as a Residential Assistant through USF Housing and Residential Education. I engage in aiding around 40 residents as well as engage in quick problem solving and crisis management. In addition, I also give out University resources to my residents that I have learned from being a Residential Assistant and an Orientation Leader.My goal is to apply my engineering skills and experience in combination with medical knowledge and principles throughout my time as an undergraduate student, such as during research, and into my future career. I also plan to complete a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering to further specialize into the specialization of my choosing before taking the big step into starting a professional career or continuing research as a PhD student.
