As the Founder and Chief Science Officer of Cell Systems-3D, LLC, I have over 18 years of experience in bioengineering and researching 2-D and 3-D cellular models for various applications in human, veterinary, and public health. My mission is to leverage my expertise in cell biology, biochemistry, and zoonotic disease transmission creating innovative and reliable platforms for studying host-pathogen interactions, drug discovery, and tissue engineering.I have successfully developed and tested 17 in vitro cellular platforms supporting parasitological, viral and bacterial pathogens. I have also co-authored a provisional patent and publications. I've developed, participated in teams of research scientists who share my passion for advancing the frontiers of science and improving lives.
