Six year project still in the planning stage.- New BBVA 360.000sqm HQ in Madrid, Spain. €540million. Different procurement approaches considered.- Refurbishment of the United Nations Office of Geneva's HQ, Ten year project still in the planning stage.- National Library of Latvia, Riga. €140million under a main contractor scheme.

Latin Countries

Gerens Hill International was Hill International's subsidiary for Latin Countries.Supported the CEO in all aspects related to the company. Company growth from 240staff mainly in Spain to nearly 750staff through five latin countries. Directly responsible for Business Development, as well as the delivery of two business lines and most corporate aspects of the group. Directly involved as Project Director in the following Projects:- Implementation of the Availability Project for a 7 Hospital Program in Madrid, Spain. €1.000million under PPP scheme.- 22.000sqm Tier IV Data Process Center (second world's largest at the time) in Madrid, Spain. €105million under ‘Design & Build’ contract.

Spain, Mexico

With over 250 professionals fully dedicated to managing construction risk, Gerens Management Group was Spain's leader in Project & Construction Management. 60% was acquired by Hill International in 2008Responsible for implementing a diversification strategy through a new division that would position the company upstream in the client’s decision making process. Developed and managed the Division within the organization. Directly involved as Project Director in the following Projects:- 920 bed Hospital in Majadahonda, Madrid, Spain. €175million delivered under PPP scheme.- 1000bed New Hospital Son Espases, Spain. €240million delivered under PPP scheme.- Five star Hotel Fairmont Mayakoba, Mexico. €70million delivered under General Contractor scheme.- Mix use consisting in 2.400 residential units, shopping center and hotel.

Spain

As part of the start-up team, conducted some of the company’s new contracts while implemented start-up procedures for all projects to follow, such as a Project Management Plan and Project’s Balance Scorecard. Full time Project Manager for the following Project:- Mix use project consisting in 500 residential units and a shopping center in Murcia (south of Spain). €120million.

Full time Site Manager in the following Projects;- 164apartment building in Madrid, Spain.- 150bed Hospital in Can Ruti, Badalona, Spain.
