Miguel Vicéns, creative director and principal of Coevál Studio, composes immersive, architectural experiences. Vicéns is an architectural designer, furniture designer, and interior designer with expertise in high-end hospitality, corporate interiors and restaurant design. His adaptability to a diverse body of work is motivating as he balances each project with his tried and true creative process in order to establish a space exuding warmth and belonging. An intuitive problem-solver, Vicéns maintains a strong emphasis on the user experience and functional features while delivering his productions through an alluring contemporary, architectural filter. In 2008, he founded Coevál Studio with business partner, John Paul Valverde. To current date under the firm’s name they have completed and participated in over 240 successful projects including iconic Dallas’ hotspots The Rustic, Happiest Hour, Quill, Citizen, Gloria's Latin Cuisine, Serious Pizza and many more.In 2010, Valverde and Vicéns opened up their first restaurant, quickly forcing an even deeper understanding and experience of the industry. The weight of ownership expanded his knowledge within operational flow, revenue and critical elements for the front and back end of success in hospitality. Throughout the years, Vicéns embeds his understanding of the delicate balance of elements necessary to create a one of a kind environment. From crafting the design to building the ambience, he infuses a seamless hospitality experience that subconsciously impacts the consumer. Within each project, he aims to capture an intangible feeling of belonging, allowing the space to speak for itself and the customer to bask in the sense of enjoyment.
