Barça Residency Academy is one of the most successful youth soccer development academies in the U.S. and some of our alumni include current professional & USYNT players: Julian Araujo, Matthew Hoppe, Diego Luna, Caden Clark, Brooklyn Raines, Korede Osundina, Bryce Duke, Bryce Jamison, etc. Website: www.barcaacademy.como Overseeing the Scouting Department, coordinating and managing all recruiting & scouting efforts at Barça Residency Academy and working closely with FCB Technical Coordinator and Academy Director on a daily basis to properly identify and recruit players for academy teams.o Scouting & identifying players all across the US at all levels (MLS Next, ECNL, USYS, EA, YNT, etc.) & manage player database.o Managing the comprehensive process of building player rosters for all academy teams and overseeing the scholarship application process for student athlete enrollment.o Overseeing day-to-day academy operations and coordinating with multiple departments within the Academy: Technical Staff, Marketing, Academics & Personal Development, and Residency Life. o Working closely with the General Manager and Academy Director to create and execute strategic plan for soccer operations for the Academy to ensure Academy is operating according to its mission, vision and values.o Assisting the Academy Director and Residency Life Advisor in planning and executing all Personal Development programs and the College Recruitment process, as well as charitable and community outreach programs and events.o Cultivating strong relationships with student athletes and parents; building rapport with vendors, college coaches, and other business partners; assisting in coordinating orientation days, meeting with players and parents prior to and after each camp/tryout to present and discuss full-time residential student opportunities.

o Prospecting new business and connecting with coaches and agents to find potential players for the academy teams and residential camps. o Working closely and communicating with Grande Sports Academy soccer coaching staff on a daily basis to properly identify trialists needs and player roster fulfillment.o Attend soccer showcases, tournaments and camps for scouting and recruiting and to assist the coaching staff in identifying talent and developing prospect lists. o Coordinating and leading tours of the Grande Sports Academy complex for prospective student athletes, their parents and visitors. o Building rapport and cultivating strong relationships with student athletes, parents and other clients, and providing exceptional customer service; assist in coordinating orientation days, meeting with players and parents prior to and after each camp/tryout to present and discuss full-time residential student opportunities.o Managing and overseeing the comprehensive scholarship application process for full-time student athlete enrollment.o Processing all student athlete paperwork including academy tryouts, residential camps and RSL PRO Combine registration.o Fulfill financial goals via sales with full-time residential student athletes and camps.o Prepare and distribute sales reports at weekly student athlete recruiting meetings with the General Manager and the coaching staff.o Supervising of the Marketing Manager to coordinate management of all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+) for Grande Sports Academy, oversee planning and implementation of advertising campaigns, creation of Grande Sports Academy newsletters and weekly e-blasts.o Attend soccer conventions to present and create interest in Grande Sports Academy programs: residential academy, residential camps, tournaments, and team/group training.o Working closely with the Director of Personal Development in planning and executing charity and community outreach programs and events.
