I am an interdisciplinary cultural worker, with BAs in law and business administration and master's studies in international law and marketing. I mainly work independently or with MATKA as cultural manager, grant writer and context creator, but many times also as PR or financial specialist. Sometimes I use the pseudonym Michelle Panthère.I work with artists, independent collectives or other NGOs from different areas or with my own ideas and I seek to develop a practice of collaboration and collective growth. My interests reside in building a stronger, more diverse and critical cultural environment that advocates for and engages in more equitable social practices. My practice is informed by contemporary thinking, intersectional feminism and queer theory. In 2016, I co-founded MATKA Association together with artist Lea Rasovszky, alongside which I develop artistic, cultural and cultural mediated educational projects in collaboration with groups of people in marginalised communities or other vulnerable situation. In 2020, I initiated Rezidența21, an artistic residency program whose aim is to support and develop the local experimental and independent music scene. In 2021, I curated the educational program "How should we talk about queer culture?", and in 2022, the exhibition "The Bittersweet Chaos of Becoming", together with Edith Lázár, at IVAN Gallery in Bucharest. Between 2019-2021 I was part of the queer feminist editorial collective CUTRA. Between 2020-2022 I was the artistic coordinator of the project "Triumf Amiria. The Museum of Queer Culture[?]” of MozaiQ Association. Between 2020-2021, together with a significant group of artists, I laid the foundations of the multidisciplinary space dedicated to artist studios at Malmaison, Bucharest, where MATKA manages the 1st floor. My strengths lie in my capacity to understand and collaborate with many people, to implement cultural projects on multiple levels, on my ability to work on diverse ideas in different areas, in my good and transparent communication skills, but mostly in my capacity to easily adapt to different approaches and build coherent and relevant concepts.
