-Overall IT governance and resources management.-People management.-Project management, planning, execution, analysis and support, project portfolio management ensuring the coherence with the business needs.The ITS (intelligent transportation systems) department is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and operation of all products related to the transport sphere.

• Lead the planning and implementation of assigned projects;• Monitor, track and report on the progress of IT projects against plans, scope and budget; escalate issues to senior management as necessary;• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools;• Ensure quality assurance testing is conducted;• Responsible for comprehensive delivery of documentation for all phases of assigned project.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:• Lead the planning and implementation of assigned projects• Ensure all stakeholders participate in development of statement of work (as applicable) and manage to agreed upon statement of work• Develop detailed project plans, define project tasks and resource requirements• Monitor, track and report on the progress of IT projects against plans, scope and budget; escalate issues to senior management as necessary• Work with departments and outsourced vendor resources to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications, designs and end products that meet business needs• Conduct regularly scheduled project meetings with clear agenda, minutes and communication/management of action items• Identify risks and issues; develop mitigation plans; monitor and implement necessary mitigation plans; escalate risks and issues to senior management as necessary• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools• Provide direction and support to project team• Ensure quality assurance testing is conducted• Conduct project evaluations/lessons learned and assess results• Ensure strong adherence to project management methodologies and software development life cycle• Responsible for comprehensive delivery of documentation for all phases of assigned project

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:• Defines and documents customer business functions and processes.• Consults with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.• Analyzes the feasibility of, and develops requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.• Tracks and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications; writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training. • Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.• Provides technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff.• Develops training curriculum and conducts formal training sessions covering assigned systems module.• Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
