• Part of the four most significant relocation projects, two new headquarters buildings and two new datacenters, managing electrical cabling and network cabling suppliers.• Part of opening or relocating over 150 other ING Bank locations and Offices, managing data network, electrical network design and implementation with third party suppliers.• Communicate with telecommunications vendors to obtain pricing and technical specifications for available hardware, or services.• Inspect sites to determine physical configuration, such as device locations and conduit pathways.• Work with personnel and facilities management staff to install, remove, or relocate user connectivity equipment and devices.• Supervise and assign duties to workers engaged in network and electrical cabling for all ING locations (new or existing), datacenter maintenance and ATM's installation.• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.• Maintain an inventory of parts for emergency repairs into Datacenters and for network purposes.• Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel to facilitate purchases.• Install and replace networking equipment when necessary or when hardware upgrades were made• Implement and/or perform preventive maintenance, backup, or recovery procedures.• Test equipment to ensure proper operation.
