After my undergrad, I found myself exploring broader interests. I built skills and earned a living. I extending my education by troubleshooting AODA implementation at Elections Ontario (HQ), coordinating team projects in the post-grad Marketing Management program at Humber and dedicating a few years to an entrepreneurial pursuit with Broadview Fitness. Building a business was a tremendous learning experience. From making the website and getting clients, to navigated bookkeeping and working with the CRA, I was proud of the work I did.Taking stock of my experience and interests, I then took my next step: a JD from Osgoode Hall. This was another engaging, demanding and significant part of my life's journey. It gave me the chance to re-engage my undergraduate student government and community building work, to get a legal perspective on governance and policy development and advance skills in drafting and interpretation. Having completed my JD, and nearing the end of my articling term, I look forward to my Call to the Bar and the chance to continue to engage in meaningful work.
