Started by developing a new Zabbix monitoring solution for R&D IT Infrastructure and tools. Then switched to DevOps/Agile. Basically all Linux at large with a twist of Vmware, Ansible and scripting in world-wide distributed environments having various security policies in place. That would be short for a zillion machines.

Successfully transferred a key IT project from Italy to Romania. After a couple of knowledge-transfer visits in Milan area with the customer and third-party providers I have been in charge with organizing the remote delivery, from recruiting personnel to people management, assignments, trainings and reporting activities on designated work flows.I became the main point of contact/escalation, acted as incident manager after the go-live. Project in numbers: 5000+ machines, 6000+ resolved tickets in 3 months, team of 15. On-call duty, delivery in Italian and English.

The Brand Ambassadors team is an open working group promoting the brand identify itself, the company values and the organizational culture among employees, partners and media. Supported primarily by the Communication/PR Department and mostly everyone else volunteering spare time to contribute, the group aims to bring a fresh approach towards local initiatives in CSR actions, Leadership/HR counseling.My choice of involvement was to completely redesign and supervise the Blood Donation initiative by taking charge of A-to-Z event organization. It meant changing the whole setup, from coordinating people to handling legal issues, budgets, publicity and creative works, social media and facility organization for partner medical personnel.With the help of only a handful fellow Brand Ambassadors, I have successfully organized 4 consecutive blood donations on this new scenario. I was amazed at the response received with the initiative. The number of donors and the amount of blood given (that didn't sound right, but hey), has constantly grown year to year and became a bi-annual tradition among employees. Altogether, the Ericsson staff from all departments and status have literally helped Romanian hospitals saving 700+ lives yearly. It's a relatively small number, but, as a surprising side effect, some of our colleagues got inspired by our collaborative effort and started to donate more often, on their own.For my involvement I have been awarded the "Leaders and Key Influencers Certification" during an internal leadership course within the People Strategy Unit. As a Brand Ambassador I have also been involved in other charity/fund-raising activities like X-Mas Cookie Charity, NGO Fair or Green actions.

Relocated to Ericsson UK in Guildford, England, project based, short term assignment. Work involved customer facing meetings and conferences, ticket trend analysis, reporting and application monitoring.Pro-actively handling high severity incidents for transmission/base-station management, in charge with communications and escalations. Non-shift operation supervision, delivery in English.

Involved with multiple global projects - network security, global firewall/zoning configuration applications, database administration, internal ordering tool support, operator sms gateways for a Middle East customer. Took part in establishing ways of working, ticketing system flows and responsibility delegation for front/back office teams.Implemented automatic monitoring, backup scripts and other infrastructure/database aspects. Migrated applications among new world-wide hosting facilities, acting as SME Linux/Mysql, firewalls infrastructure and network security. Assisted new hires technical interviews, oncall duty, delivery in English.

Followed the processes for service restoration as quickly as possible, trying to minimize the impact to business operations. Main area of activity was Radio Access Networks (RAN) for Operators located in UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Ghana and Romania, as well as local Ericsson headquarters happenings.Relocated for a month to Newbury and London, England, UK for customer project knowledge transfer then running and attending local trainings for passing on or receiving other customers' ways of working. Most of the job tasks were built around playing the role of shift authority, bridging management and technical parties, ensuring SLAs/WLAs, managing high priority notifications and taking actions or logging/escalating events. Job also involved proactive monitoring, pre-emptive support operations based on locally observed patterns (voice/data traffic, weather, or customer-indicated conditions). No on call duty, 12/24 shifts, multi-customer environment, delivery in English, Italian and Romanian.

Short term assignment, temporarily filling up a backoffice position with Italian. Handled tickets regarding PDH/SDH transport from cell towers to radio network controllers (via atm, stmX, etc), element restoration/provisioning, circuit paths or transit cross-connect; support for field engineers (node b, e1 multiplexers, Ericsson and Alcatel microwave radios, fiber, etc). Oncall duty, delivery in Italian and English.

Relocated to Milan, Italy for a 3 months project setup and knowledge-transfer. Managed live/ondemand mobile RTSP streaming platform on a custom solution and self-care service applications for mobile and pc content distribution.Built scripts to improve monitoring, wrote procedures and held trainings for the 1st/2nd line of support; developed software interfaces for a better cross-partner tool-integration saving Roaming-like costs for application testing and delivery. On-call duty, delivery in English and Italian.

Realitatea FM was a talk/news-radio station part of the Realitatea-Cațavencu media conglomerate, broadcasting 6 AM to 6 PM its own productions. The sister TV station, Realitatea TV, shows were aired over the night and evening via automations.As a live broadcast technician my work consisted in mixing 4 hours/day news-radio-type talk shows, journals, phone-in, music and ads with respects to programming and producer indications. Responsible with general sound quality and occasionally pre-recording shows. I have also contributed to the radio packaging (jingles / stingers / beds and backgrounds) of a regular 8h live sports show aired over the weekend.

AG-Projects.com is a small software company based in Haarlem, the Netherlands, pioneering with VoIP technology. Job involved deploying and managing SIP services/platforms for the company's worldwide customers, monitoring and mentanance for internet services (dns/web/email/etc) in hosting facilities. Teleworking from Eforie Nord, Romania and Drama, Greece. Delivery in English.

Realitatea-Cațavencu (the latter Cotidianul-Cațavencu) was an important media conglomerate including the daily printed newspaper "Cotidianul", the satire-weekly "Academia Cațavencu", the FM station "Radio Guerrilla", other premium/cultural media magazines, as well as buying/advertising companies.I was their responsible with hosting facilities, Linux servers, dns, email traffic, intranets, vpns, firewalls, internet services and connectivity. Developed an intranet module for Reuters feeds newsroom distribution, an e-commerce module for selling online media and a custom low-latency-high-quality audio streaming solution towards broadcasting facilities and the Internet. Also contributed occasional press correspondences on IT, leisure and concert news, assisted musical auditoriums. Created the "Radio Top Show" voting system and helped the development of a strong online fan-community built around a "Forum" for the radio station.On the fun side, together with some fellow-journalists and musicians in the group, made up "The Guerrilla Band" and pulled out the Grand Prize at the "Cupa Presei la Cantat" in 2005, an annual music playing competition among romanian media. I was the keyboard player in the band. :)
