Working as part of the UK Rotorcraft Support Quality Team at RAF Odiham responsible for:• MRB Signatory for Quality Assurance• FoD &Tool Control Audits• Flight Authorization Signatory & Inspections• Complete Product Audits / Installation Inspections• Tech Records review and correlation• Internal Audits to AS9100/AS9110 where required• Initiate and Chair Corrective Action Boards• Post Acceptance Reviews at the Customers Facility• Co-ordination of MAA Quality System Publication Changes• Host external bodies during annual surveillance visits• Containment Actions against Non-Conformances• Raise and Investigate Non-Conformances raised both internally and externally.• Attend Reviews representing Quality• Deliver training to Boeing PersonnelReviews proposals contracts regulatory program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development. Prepares and maintains Quality directives policies processes procedures and metrics to assure program contract customer regulatory requirements international standards and working agreements are deployed. Conducts research compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability. Conducts hardware software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards configuration assurance related business regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management. Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials parts and equipment.

Responsible for the day to day running of the Avionics/Electrical aspects of the C-17 base maintenance.Heavily involved in MRP 145 approval application including writing parts of the Maintenance Organisation ExpositionHeavily involved in the writing and reviewing of all Quality related procedures for MAOS ApprovalSolely responsible for writing the Training and Authorisation procedure and designing the training records database and associated forms for MAOS approval.Seconded to CH47 Chinook MK6 enhancement programme to assist with CH47 upgrades.Taking part in both internal and external quality audits to AS9100Providing technical support on issues experienced by the RAF and liaising with the Boeing factory for more in depth support when required.

Prioritizing work and distributing work assignments.Responsible for the setup and day to day running of the aircraft battery servicing Area and battery servicing plan for the C-27A and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.Responsible for the training and mentoring of new personnel. Training Afghan forces on the fundamentals of aircraft maintenance and Avionics.Mentoring them in an on the job environment to ensure application of knowledge and conformance to standards and technical data.

All Systems Engineer on the Boeing C-17. Operating Worldwide as a Ground Engineer with all systems responsibility. Co-ordinating and conducting all Maintenance activities whilst away from home base, including day-to-day maintenance, in-depth fault diagnosis and corrective action in accordance with Company Procedures and Master Equipment List, whilst interfacing directly with the Flight Crew for Engineering Operations.Working within the AS9110 regulations and helping the company towards certification.Working closely with the Boeing Field service representatives to ensure maximum fleet availabilityWhen operating at home base as Flight line supervisor co-ordinating all engineering on the C-17 and supervising maintenance.Carry out training and mentoring of new personnel and the training of UAE military personnel.

Responsible for all aspects of Avionic and Electrical maintenance of the C-130 aircraft. Inspection and testing. Scheduled maintenance fault diagnosis and repair work. Prioritising work and distributing work assignments.Managing the avionic/electrical desk and frequently in charge of entire shift, management of the associated manpower, allocation of work and supervision of engineers. Qualified to train, monitor and certify other engineers for their flight servicing annotations and servicing related tasks13 months in 33 (Eng.) Sqn training cell teaching flight line maintenance and servicing, systems overviews, application of electrical and hydraulic power and working at height.Responsible for a full review and redesign of aircraft engineering authorisation system, including rewriting of procedures and authorisationsFully conversant with the OMMS manuals used on the C-130J, involved in all aspect of maintenance from flight line servicing and handling to major modifications and large scale rectification work.Repair and test the Large Aircraft Infrared Counter Measures (LAIRCM) and ALE chaff and flare defence systems, which include the testing and firing of the laser systems.
