Hi! My name is Mihika Raman, and I am currently a junior at the Rutgers Business School at the University of New Brunswick Campus. I am also minoring in Political Science at Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences. I intend to graduate in May 2025 and hope to integrate my undergraduate studies and pursue an MBA in international relations and business in the near future. I am very welcoming to new opportunities in all fields of business; however, I have a strong desire to add to my marketing experience. I am currently studying courses in Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior, and have completed courses that touch all aspects of business such as computer applications, statistics, supply chain, and business law.During the summer of 2023, I was able to work/intern with a startup called TurnUp, whose main focus as a non-profit was to expand youth activism and voter turnout. I learned a lot about social responsibility, negotiation, and communication with different individuals. I currently work in audio and production for a retail-focused business named Birdzi Inc, where I have gained knowledge about production, the social media aspect of business, as well as sales, marketing, and customer relations. These experiences have enabled me to grow my technical skills and advance my knowledge in the e-commerce world.I am also involved at Rutgers. When I am not studying for exams, I attend events as a general member for clubs like Women in Business and Rutgers UNICEF. Additionally, I am involved at our Rutgers Radio (WRSU 88.7 FM) in the music department. I feel my diverse experiences of learning from businesses focused on different areas of the industry set me apart as an asset for the career world.
