Mihir joined Schering Plough Research Institute back in 2005 before merging with Merck in 2009. He and his team advanced every project to the next level and made major contributions to the design and synthesis of several clinical candidates/tool molecules for validation of biology in a variety of therapeutic areas spanning neuroscience, cardiovascular disease, and antibacterial. Mihir is an inventor of over 30 patent applications and has published over 29 scientific articles. He has also presented at many scientific conferences.
