1) Compiled and prepared financial statements for a variety of portfolio of clients ranging from professional businesses to businesses operating in investment and manufacturing sectors in Canada by strictly following CSRS4200 standards for compilation engagements and hence being proficient in using CaseWare Software2) Drafted and filed corporation’s Income Tax returns(T2) using TaxPrep software and hence became tactical in filling the required schedules by strictly following income tax regulations of Canada for CCPC(ie Canadian controlled Private Corporations)3) Worked closely with Assurance and Tax managers to work on 4 corporate reorganizations(Capital Gains strip) and hence made required adjusting journal entries on CaseWare by going through the instruction letter prepared by Grant Thornton’s tax team and hence making required changes in T2.4) Performed various types of reconciliations including GST/HST, PST ,Bank,Shareholder,Income Tax, Accounts receivable and Accounts Payable.5) Prepared Investment Schedules and lead sheets for our investment clients and hence drafting annual adjusting entries to record returns and Capital gains if the investment was sold.6) Filled up Capital assets lead sheets by making sure to know various CCA rates and classes provided by Canada Revenue Agency(CRA) and drafted adjusting entries to record depreciation expenses and accumulated amortization on various types of Asset classes 7) Analyzing CRA balances to record arrears interest and refund interests as well as term payments made by clients for their income tax expense and hence updating numbers on CaseWare and Taxprep(Sch1 and Sch T7B)
