• Create RFQs/SOWs, review, analyze and clarify quotations from suppliers and develop sourcing and business recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time and technical considerations.• Drive unit price and tooling negotiation process to ensure that pricing meets Best-In-Class expectation, in addition to driving continual cost reduction and avoidance initiatives through ad-hoc price negotiations.• Develop and negotiate favorable commercial agreements including but not limited to Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms and Conditions, Master Service Agreements to set Lunar Energy up for long term success; while collaborating with our Legal team for optimal terms and conditions.• Participate in Design for Manufacturability reviews with Engineering partners and prospective suppliers, and drive decisions from a cost perspective• Manage supplier development and tooling timelines, part availability for prototype builds/start of production, and develop solutions to delays or problems that arise• Maintain the health of supplier relationships and act as point of contact for all commercial issues, including internal report-outs summarizing sourcing status, parts availability and cost status• Monitor industry and global market conditions, track technology roadmaps, identify supply and demand challenges and opportunities.• Develop a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and costs, logistics, and market intelligence, and apply these learning to inform future sourcing strategies.• Organize and support onsite visits and audits of key suppliers and contract manufacturers to perform due diligence prior to contract award, and as needed post award to ensure adherence to commitments.

• Identify, develop, negotiate contracts with, and manage relationships with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), to support the design and manufacturing• Support the overall sourcing strategy for contract manufacturing at Lunar• Develop/refine contracts and SOWs with the CMs to ensure needs are met, including cost, quality, and functional requirements• Manage the development, production builds, risk mitigation and ramp from a commercial perspective for the current & next-gen architecture modules made at these CMs • Drive schedule, capacity and supply planning to meet Lunar's development and production demands, focusing on module assembly, test and PCBA manufacturing• Evaluate technical and business risks using data based analysis and develop sound risk mitigation alternatives • Provide cross-functional support with hardware engineering, electronic engineering, firmware engineering, Technical Program Management (TPM), legal, finance and operations• Perform cost modeling, negotiation and execution of part and assembly cost strategy for these modules at these CMs• Drive communication between CMs and engineering• Drive issue prioritization and resolution with the CMs, working collaboratively with engineering• Support cost, supplier scorecard creation and other supply chain requirements at a regular cadence
